A Demonstration of Burdock's ability to insure that it's seeds are spread far and wide
A short Demonstration
The seed heads of this plant, whether broken up or whole; cling to fur or clothes and are difficult to remove, as demonstrated here, with the help of my assistant, Sara and her phone eating dog, called Ebony.
As you can see; these Burs, as the seed heads are known; stick very well, although technically they cling, because they are armed with many tiny hooks as opposed to any kind of gluey substance.
Ebony chose to sit on a rock, during the proceedings. I had promised Sara that I wouldn't put any Burs on her, but Ebony wasn't taking any chances.
